Kravis Performing Arts Center

Monarch has the distinct honor to be the specified door hardware supplier for the Kravis Center, located in the heart of the downtown area in the City of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Residents of Palm Beach had dreamed of having a major performing arts facility since the1950’s. The much anticipated performing arts facility opened its doors in September 1992 and hosted a week-long dedication for thousands of patrons which featured free performances by local arts groups.

The Kravis Center building contains three different performing stages. The Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse is a small intimate theatr. The Michael and Andrew Gosman Amphitheatre is located outside and offers both lawn and bleacher seating, which is perfect for summer and spring shows. The Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall hosts the largest performances, including Broadway Series shows, ballets, operas and orchestras from all over the world.

Monarch 17 and 18 Series devices are used in all theater and fire exit doorways, as well as on all stage entrances and exits.
